Dr. Damon Patterson
Dr. Damon Patterson has a tremendous passion for God’s word coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Dr. Patterson obediently fulfills his calling as the pastor's pastor of Clear Springs Baptist Church.
Called to ministry in July 1952, Dr. Patterson began his journey as a preacher of the Gospel, sharing the Word in cities throughout the nation. He has been Senior Pastor of churches in Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
Dr. Patterson and his wife, the late Mrs. Lois Patterson, have been used by the Lord, seeing many lives changed through their faithful service. They were married for 65 years and have 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Dr. Patterson received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, as well as, a Doctorate of Divinity degree. He has also served as a member on the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board.
His vision is uncompromisingly clear, with one central principle; to build and develop a kingdom of empowered people for God. Holding firmly to the Great Commission mandate in Matthew 28:18-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations. He is an active part of our staff at Clear Springs Baptist Church and a wonderful asset to our worship and ministry teams.
